Photographer with extensive experience in branding and visual design. Based in Dublin, Ireland.

Growing up in Finland my introduction to the field of visual arts were my uncle's comic books found in my grandma's attic. At the mature age of 11 I had decided I'd become a comic book artist. In junior high I discovered Photoshop, website design and coding which led into a career in UI/UX, graphic design, branding and photography. After finishing junior high with my best grade in art class, for the next 3 years I studied a secondary upper qualification in photography and graphic design. I continued my studies at Karelia University of Applied Sciences for one semester until I got hired for my first day job at a local advertising agency in 2007.
With an extensive experience working in digital and advertising agencies both in Finland and Dublin, I have a unique perspective as a photographer in creating imagery to fit all communication purposes from digital products to print and advertising. Recently I started my solo adventure as a full-time photographer in Dublin area. In studio and out there
In studio I love to create advanced lighting setups for portraits and product photography. When shooting on location I often use artificial light (flash) as well in combination with natural light to enhance or add to the shot. With careful lighting day can be transformed into night or bleak weather into sunset.
Together with my wife Eve we create beauty & editorial studio photography as Valos Creative. Our work has been displayed in exhibition and internationally published by magazines like IMIRAGE, GMARO, Beautica, Moevir, Vigour, Lenore, Over Magazine and many more.
I'm also available for concept, advertisement and document photography for entertainment and fashion industries. I have experience of photographing fast-paced runways and backstage at Fashion Weeks in New York 2025, Milan 2024, 2025 and Paris 2023, 2025.

Other adventures
I like to spend my spare time traveling, rock climbing, playing guitar and producing Synthwave music. Long road trips are my absolute favourite thing to do.
