Hi there, I'm Antti Valos
A Dublin-based photographer with extensive experience in branding and visual design.

Growing up in Finland, my introduction to the field of visual arts came through comic books discovered in my grandma's attic. At the mature age of 11, I had decided I would become a comic book artist, spending most of my time drawing.
By the end of junior high, at the turn of the millennium, I had discovered emerging digital mediums in the form of Photoshop, website design and coding, which led to a career in UI/UX, graphic design, branding and photography.
After finishing school with my best grade in art class, I spent the next three years studying for a secondary upper qualification in photography and graphic design. I continued my studies at university for one semester before landing my first day job at a local advertising agency in 2007.
With extensive experience working in digital and advertising agencies in both Finland and Dublin, I have a strong understanding as a photographer of how to create imagery for a wide range of communication needs, from digital products to print and advertising.
Today I run my own photography practice in the Dublin area, helping businesses present their people, culture and brand through thoughtful, professional imagery.
In studio and out there
In studio, I love creating advanced lighting setups for portraits, beauty, fashion and product photography. When shooting on location, I often use artificial light (flash) in combination with natural light to enhance or add to the shot. With careful lighting, day can be transformed into night, or bleak weather into sunset.
Together with my wife Eve, we create beauty and editorial studio photography as Valos Creative. Our work has been displayed in exhibitions and internationally published in magazines such as IMIRAGE, GMARO, Beautica, Moevir, Vigour, Lenore, Over Magazine and many more.
I'm also available for concept, advertising and documentary photography for the entertainment and fashion industries. I have experience photographing fast-paced runways and backstage at Fashion Weeks in New York (2025), Milan (2024, 2025) and Paris (2023, 2025).

Other adventures
I love to spend my spare time traveling, rock climbing, playing guitar and producing Synthwave music. Long road trips are my absolute favourite thing to do.
