Photographer with extensive experience in branding and visual design. Based in Dublin, Ireland.

Growing up in Finland my introduction to the field of visual arts were the comic books I found in my uncle's attic. At the ripe age of 11 I had decided I'd become a comic book artist. In junior high I discovered Photoshop, website design and coding which lead into a career in UI/UX, graphic design and branding. After finishing junior high with my best grade in art class (10/10 while everything else suffered), the next 3 years I studied a secondary upper qualification in graphic design and photography. I continued my studies at Karelia University of Applied Sciences for one semester until I got hired for my first day job at a local advertising agency in 2007.
During my years at advertising and digital agencies in Helsinki and recently in Dublin I have worked with hundreds of companies and brands, designing websites, apps, brand guidelines and identities. This has given me a unique view and skill as a photographer to create images that fit branding and content needs and requirements.
In studio photography I've specialised in advanced creative lighting techniques. On location I like to use artificial light in combination with natural light to enhance the shot. Together with my wife Eve we create beauty & editorial studio photography as Valos Creative. Our work has been internationally published by magazines like IMIRAGE, GMARO, Beautica, Moevir, Vigour, Lenore, Over Magazine and many more.
I'm also available for document photography for entertainment and fashion industries. I had an opportunity recently to take part in Fashion Weeks in Milan 2024 & Paris 2023 to photograph the collection and hair & makeup teams for Paulina's Friends and VANIHILA.
